Marketing Sales Management Ltd (“MSM”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 15264357). We are a B2B marketing and sales agency providing services including conversion rate optimisation, CRM and marketing automation, sales management, content production, and website design and development.
MSM is the Data Controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of providing our services. We are committed to protecting your personal data and processing it in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at: info@marketingsalesmanagement.co.uk
We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:
Data you provide directly: name, job title, company name, business email address, telephone number, and any other information you submit via our contact forms, booking tools, or email correspondence.
Data collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, time and date of visit, referral source, and session duration. This data is collected via cookies, Google Analytics 4, and similar tracking technologies.
Data collected in the course of providing services: where we are engaged by a client business, we may access personal data held within their systems (such as CRM records, email lists, or advertising accounts) solely to perform the contracted services. In these cases MSM acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the client business, who remains the Data Controller.
We do not collect special category data (such as health, biometric, or criminal records) through this website or in the normal course of our services.
We only process personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so under UK GDPR Article 6. The purposes for which we process data and the lawful basis for each are set out below.
To respond to enquiries and provide our services — Lawful basis: Contract (Article 6(1)(b)) or Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)). We process contact details to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, and deliver contracted services.
To send marketing communications — Lawful basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) or Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)) where applicable under PECR. Business-to-business marketing to existing or prospective clients may rely on legitimate interests where there is a relevant and existing relationship. You can opt out at any time.
To analyse website usage and improve our services — Lawful basis: Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)). We use analytics data to understand how our website is used and to improve its performance and content.
To comply with legal obligations — Lawful basis: Legal Obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). We may process data to fulfil obligations under tax law, anti-money laundering regulations, or in response to lawful requests from regulatory authorities.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We use the following types of cookies:

Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised data about how visitors use the site. This helps us understand traffic patterns and improve content. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner displayed on your first visit, or by adjusting your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the website.
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Our standard retention periods are as follows:
Enquiry and contact data — retained for up to 2 years from last contact, unless a contract follows, in which case the retention period below applies.
Client and contract data — retained for 7 years from the end of the contract in accordance with HMRC requirements for financial records.
Marketing contact data — retained until you opt out, or for 3 years from the last engagement where no opt-out has been received.
Website analytics data — retained for 14 months in Google Analytics 4 (the platform default).
Where we act as a Data Processor for a client business, we will delete or return personal data in accordance with the client’s written instructions or upon termination of the contract.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We may share data with the following categories of third parties where necessary to operate our business:

All processors are required to handle data in accordance with UK GDPR.

Regulatory and statutory authorities — we may disclose data where required by law or in response to a lawful request from a competent authority, including the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), HMRC, or law enforcement.
Where third-party providers are based outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, prior to any transfer.
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@marketingsalesmanagement.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
